Most of the Local Health Insurance companies apply one year Waiting Period for Maternity Benefits. So most likely the insured can only get benefits from the Maternity Benefits from the second year in the plan.

Most of Local Health Insurance does not cover any Congenital Birth Defect for New Born Child.
