Pre-existing conditions are the medical conditions that the insured suffered from prior to joining the insurance.
The International Health Insurance usually permanently exclude all the Chronic Condition whether it is declared in the application form or not. Some other insurers consider to cover the pre-existing condition with a premium loading.
Some insurer apply two years moratorium for pre existing condition. They may cover the Pre-Existing Condition in the third year if the insured does not seek any advice, treatment, medication or check ups within the first two years in the plan.
If an insured person has a pre-existing condition, we usually recommend them to remain with the same insurance company for the long term. So it is important to choose a good company from the beginning, with a plan that is renewable for life, regardless of location, age or medical condition.
